Cans, Jars and Videotape' was a film commissioned by Waste Watch as part of Recycle Western Riverside, a London-wide campaign to promote recycling, re-using and reducing waste (the three Rs). The film captured the perception of 35 Londoners about the three Rs in four London boroughs: Kensington & Chelsea, Wandsworth, Lambeth and Hammersmith & Fulham. The film was screened at the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton, for all who were also involved in the making of the film, along with councillors and MPs.

The film gives us a fantastic tool to help spread the word about recycling in our local communities. We hope it will inspire many more people to get involved in recycling by showing just how straightforward and convenient it now is.
